As a professional healer and also a mother to 3 younger children, I often feel overwhelmed and sometimes I get to the place of depletion, yet I have a deep spiritual side and I know that overwhelm and depletion is a spiritual problem, and is not where I want to spend my time. Personally, I have a lot of knowledge and experience in the realm of healing arts (more than 15 years)…but even with all that knowledge and experience, I still fall into the traps of over-giving, overwhelm and depleting myself. There are many reasons why…and I am constantly looking within to find those answers and move beyond those blocks and barriers. One of the main barriers I’ve had is finding authentic places that are free of ego in order for me to feel safe enough to “let go” and “do the work”.

I am extremely grateful for Yve and the work she has done to be the beautiful holder of space that she is. I am so appreciative and grateful for her Temezcal de Corazon de Colibri (sweat lodge ceremony) and the way she flows with Spirit in curating these unique ceremonies just as they are and need to be for all those in attendance.

I have had the privilege of attending many sweat lodge ceremonies in the past in the Lakota and Sioux Indian traditions and have always felt such a connection to this way of healing. This Temezcal ceremony was a lifeline back to my inner self that I have been wanting and needing so very much…nothing gets me there quite like this body, mind and soul experience. A huge thank you for this sacred space that Yve and her wonderful partner and son create with such reverence and depth of soul. I look forward to many more to come.
