Pineapple Ginger Tea Recipe
Are you looking for a new morning ritual?
Food is medicine! PINEAPPLE TEA is one of my new morning rituals came to me during a yearly cleanse program I lead. I raved about it to the group because it was an easy-to-make anti-inflammatory tea that genuinely had me releasing excess toxins and water during the day. I immediately noticed pain associated with joint inflammation from menopause decreases as well.
Before this morning ritual, my urine was not smelling very clean and was a brighter yellow. Immediately, I noticed light yellow eliminations and a feeling of proper hydration after consuming this tea.
I started adding ginger to it as well, as it gives it a good punch and added benefits.
Pineapple Ginger Tea felt like a bright natural medicine to my body.
There are suggestions on my cleanse programs for morning rituals depending on the person. But, as a reminder, ultimately, you are your own best guide.
I find it essential to ensure the first thing that goes into your system is something that adds value to BREAKing your FAST. This tea adds hydration rather than choosing a coffee or solid food which could be dehydrating. Breaking your fast with nutrition and enzymes that are gut-friendly seems the best angle to me.
Maybe you would find it beneficial too?
My favorite word is "experimentation.". After all, aren't we all merely experimenting with what foods add value to our overall well-being?
When I drink a glass of Pineapple Ginger Tea in the morning, my gut feels happy, and my nervous system is steady, ready for my mediation or my morning walk. After waiting 20 minutes or so, I may add green juice, tea, or a cup of coffee, depending if I am cleansing or not.
Pineapple Ginger Tea is made from the core, and the rind of the pineapple, and ginger root, and has many benefits.
One big one is that instead of throwing away the rind of the pineapple, brew it up and utilize the pieces that would typically be wasted. I make a pot of tea that last five days or more. So, it is a time saver too!

DIRECTIONS:
Carefully cut the peel of one whole organic pineapple.
2. Cut the core of the pineapple and set it aside.
3. Thoroughly scrub and wash pineapple rind and a finger (or two) of ginger root with natural soap and white vinegar; you may even soak it for five minutes in the same mixture to make sure any toxins or chemicals are cleared off.
4. In a large pot fill it with 3/4 full of clean water and boil.
5. Add the clean pineapple peel and core, roughly chopped ginger pieces, and allow to boil for 10 minutes.
6. Reduce to simmer for 15 more minutes.
7. After it’s done, strain the tea and allow it to cool.
8. I refrigerate the tea and use it daily first thing in the morning.
TIP: I prefer the tea at room temp as it is better for digestion. I let it sit out for 15-20 minutes so that it's not a cold shock to the body. You may warm it up for cold seasons. Add honey, stevia, and/or monk fruit for kids who are curious about what you are drinking.
IN-JOY
May the light of love guide your way,
